Be A Friend to Yourself

Did you know that in fetal development the heart forms and starts beating BEFORE the brain is developed?

And, did you know that the heart sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends to the heart? Hmmm.

If you’re wound tight trying to stay in control of minutia, pause, close your eyes, take a long deep breath, and slowly exhale. Listen for and feel your heart.

the connection
the connection

Weird or Wonderful? YES!

Is it better, more admirable, to be a social butterfly than a wallflower, an extrovert than an introvert?

There seems to be more written in poetry, novels, and screenplays of the jovial, talkative, “life of the party” personalities, than the “socially maladjusted” wallflowers; but what about the myriad between.

Fact or fiction? Is the lifeoftheparty better adjusted than the quiet, reserved wallflower? Let’s see…

First, we know that shyness is as self-centered as ego-mania. Each is on the self-esteem continuum, only at opposite, extreme ends.

The shy’s response at feeling “less than” is to hide, and pull inward. The ego-maniac puffs up to appear greater than his inner feelings of insufficiency.

But, wait! We humans are way more complex than a one-dimensional label of introvert or extravert.

From the earliest times, physicians and philosophers used their understanding of the four humors (bodily fluids), “the four temperaments,” to treat diseases and understand people’s individual differences. Although each person is a mixture of temperaments, there’s usually one dominating.

Succinctly, Tim LaHaye’s book, Spirit Controlled Temperament, discusses the passive phlegmatic; the fickle, outgoing sanguine; the gloomy melancholic; and the assertive, fiery choleric. (He has 2 others on temperaments: Transforming Your Temperament and Transformed Temperaments)

And, Carol Tuttle writes about the four energy/personality types in It’s Just My Nature and The Child Whisperer.

We who are more introverted know that we’re comfortable in our solitude. But, are we best remaining in our solitude? (Here’s one of my first articles about such. http://conversationswithcynthia.com/2012/09/28/my-pearl/ )

I know of many espousing introverts who are proof that out of their solitude came wisdom, and strength, for future change, teaching, art, music, books, and inventions. We would have been robbed of their/your contributions, deprived of your inspirations, and may have missed a life-altering epiphany had you not turned inward and away, for a time!

I too prefer my solitude, and have always been a loner. But, I was a social misanthrope until I learned the purpose of my life: people. Isn’t it ironic?
Conclusion viagra on line Creating a learning organization requires a deep rethinking of the leader’s role.

There’s a coalition of (solitary) contemplative thinkers, like the above, to help us recognize the treasures within each of us. As author of Quiet: The Power of Introverts, Susan Cain admonishes: “let us come back from the wilderness to share our revelations.” The world needs your insights!

What if you’re in a wheelchair, walk with a limp, speak with a stammer or lisp, have a weird laugh, eyes of different colors, lots of freckles, carrot red hair, or as gorgeous as Johnny Depp?

I love "weird."
I love “weird.”

How you appear isn’t who you are. So, what if you’re a little weird? What if you’re vanilla?

None of us are wholly one thing or another. We’re bits and pieces, different shapes, different colors, with different expressions of individuality. Sometimes bringing peace, and at other times, exuding energy; but always a beautiful medley of uniqueness.

We’re a wonderful mélange of experiences, thoughts, and emotions sewn into a patchwork personality, fitting perfectly into the quilt, but never haphazardly! For…

You are “…fearfully and wonderfully made.” Psalms 139:14

HE IS RISEN!

In a way, Easter is a birthday celebration. Jesus’ calculated birth is said to have been between March 21st and May 29th, April 24th being between. As for the date we celebrate His birth, December 25th, it seems that date was borrowed from pagan holidays. It was thought that more pagans would be open to that god if it coincided with their holidays. So, in truth, spring marks Jesus’ birth into the world, as well as His death and resurrection out of it.

For my Easter article, and since today is Good Friday, I want to share a posting from Kari Browning, author of Unsealing Ancient Mysteries, clarifying some other misconceptions:

“In some Christian congregations, “Good Friday” is celebrated as the day Jesus was crucified. Actually, Jesus had to be crucified on a Thursday in order for Him to be in the ground three days and three nights and to rise on the first day of the week (Sunday).

For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. (Matthew 12:40)

Going by the reports, erectile cheapest cialis purchased that dysfunction is prevalent in over 52% in men aged between 40 to 79 years. 17% it is mild, while 10% cases are that of severe erection problems in men in this age bracket.
Now on the first day of the week (Sunday) Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. (John 20:1)

So, why do we celebrate the crucifixion on “Good Friday” if Jesus was actually crucified on a Thursday? The confusion is because the Church, for the most part, does not understand festival language or Hebraic customs.

This confusion stems from John 19:31, that states Jesus’ body had to be taken down from the cross because the next day was the Sabbath. The first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread is considered a Shabbaton (a high Sabbath). This verse wasn’t referring to the weekly Sabbath (Friday at Sundown to Saturday at Sundown), but to the high Sabbath that was on Friday, Aviv 15, that year.”

HE IS RISEN!

Dangerous Mental Gymnastics

Are you worn out by mental gymnastics: queues of running thoughts jumping from must-do, should’ve-done or said, hoops of self-defamation, back-bending somersaults of other’s downfalls, racing anger, hurdles of hate, marathons of unforgiveness, and Olympic pools of shame and guilt? Unlike the resultant skill, strength, and endurance of athletes-in-training, these toxic thoughts and emotions cause illnesses when not released. They literally poison our bodies.

Modern medicine tends to look only at and treat the physiological functions of the body; but as far back as Hippocrates, it was accepted that emotions strongly affected the internal organs. For some reason, the association between our internal dialogues, conditioned from what we’ve heard others say about us, and their triggered emotions, hasn’t registered.

No emotion is inherently good or bad, unless it becomes chronic. Experiencing a gamut of emotions is normal throughout one’s lifetime. It’s when they’re not processed properly, and we get stuck in them, that they can become negative and destructive.

According to Kari Browning, Director of New Renaissance Healing & Creativity Center:

“Medical research has found that 75% to 95% of the illnesses that plague us today are a direct result of our thought life. What we think about affects us physically and emotionally. We make ourselves sick if we do not release toxic emotions and thoughts. When we experience trauma, we store that memory in our body and it can cause physical illness. When we release trapped emotions, we can begin to heal.”

And, according to Dr. Caroline Leaf, “toxic waste generated by toxic thoughts causes the following illnesses: diabetes, cancer, asthma, skin problems and allergies, to name just a few.”

Consider these findings:

Grief is stored in the lungs. Restriction of air flow, asthma, and bronchial conditions are attributed to its sadness.

It greatly increases the blood circulation to remove the blood stasis, inducing diuretic for cheapest viagra https://www.supplementprofessors.com/cialis-6811.html treating strangurtia, and these main three functions can just solve patients’ problems with interstitial cystitis.

Emotional shock is stored in the heart. Problems sleeping, confused thinking, even hysteria and psychosis can result in extreme cases.

Fear and shock are stored in the kidneys and adrenals. Extreme fear will cause immediate urination, but urinary tract disorders, incontinence, and lower back pain results. Also, bed-wetting in children is associated to insecurity. When the adrenals are stressed, memory and learning are impaired, and the body’s ability to repair itself is compromised.

Anger stores in the liver; the “red face” leads to headaches. Resentment, frustration, irritability, and guilt follow, which suppresses the immune system. If the overflow of anger effects the spleen, there will be indigestion, and diarrhea.

Worry/anxiety (over-pensiveness), dwells in the spleen. Gastric disturbances, poor appetite and forgetting to eat, elevated blood pressure, weakened immunity, and a tendency toward phlegm and colds occur. These mental gymnastics, or too much obsessing over a topic, can even infiltrate dreams at night.

According to the CDC: “For every one prescription painkiller death there are 10 treated admissions for abuse, 32 emergency department visits for misuse or abuse, 130 people who abuse or are dependent, and 825 non-medical users.”

Toxic emotions and their prescribed pharmaceuticals are poisoning us. If you’re interested in using essential oils on your journey toward health and wholeness, message me at cynthia.white@ah-haventures.com or go to https://www.youngliving.org/4Wholeness

Earthing: Barefootin’s Benefits

Okay, spring is here. We may still have some temperature dips, but this is a Health Alert about going barefoot; not that it’s bad for you. This is an announcement that it’s good for you!

I remember the good ol’ days when it was acceptable to go barefoot. In fact, my shoes (and books) remained where they were flung after hopping off the school bus on my way to shimmy up a pear tree or climb to the top of the barn! Shoes were an encumbrance to my speed and a major impedance to my climbing skills. And as important: my feet needed to breathe!

The benefits of barefootin’ was the topic of this month’s newsletter, “Chariot Notes,” that went out this past Wednesday.  For those of you not on my mailing list, here’s a smattering…and then some.

Since the invention of plastics in the 60’s, there’s been an increase of inflammation-related health disorders. We moved from leather-soled shoes, and wooden floors, to synthetic-soled shoes, synthetic carpets, and linoleum, which left our bodies depleted of electrons! Our autoimmune systems have become compromised. “Earthing,” or walking barefoot, reduces oxidative stress.

The earth naturally carries a negative ionic charge, so when we are grounded with the earth, free radicals are neutralized in your body. It has been proven that negative ions not only detoxify and calm the body, but also reduce stress and inflammation.

A second benefit is reflexology. Because there are reflex points corresponding to every organ in the body on the soles of our feet, barefooting offers a free reflexology session…helping to relieve what ails ya’. If there’s initial tenderness, it will subside as your body adjusts.

In addition, going barefoot offers a dual reprieve from a fast-paced lifestyle. First, you’re out-and-away from business, taking an opportunity to unwind. At the same time, you must be present, giving attention to where you step, living in the moment. And, research has proven a 62% decrease in anxiety and depression, increasing those feel-good endorphins. Simply quieting the mental chatter relaxes the mind, body, and spirit.

What’s the big deal about “the loved that (viagra no prescription) little blue pill”? It’s simple: When it works as intended, disambiguation causes a man who is sexually stimulated to get erection.
Whether walking in the grass, on the bare earth, or in the sand, connect with Mother Nature, and her Creator. Feel the warm sunshine on your face. Smell the flowers. Listen to the wind in the trees, and the bird’s enchanting songs. How wondrous are our senses!

Even now, I go barefoot from April through October. Maybe I can’t pound the earth with my feet, but I can prop them up on rocks, or tree roots, while I tune in to earth’s harmony and commune with my Father. Sometimes, I even extend my legs and slide down in my chair just to feel the cool grass under my toes.

Remember, I’m from Tennessee. You can take the country bumpkin out of Tennessee, but you can’t take the country bumpkin-ness out of this Tennessean. (To read about my superintendent reprimanding me for going barefoot in the “My Daisy Dukes” chapter of Views From My Chariot, you can order it here http://booklocker.com/books/6235.html or off Amazon.com.

So today, for your health and happiness, I’m suggesting a barefoot stroll. Be rejuvenated!

Hungry Minds and Open Eyes

“There is nothing you can learn from as much as a problem you cannot fully solve. Unsolved problems can be some of the greatest tormentors, but also the greatest teachers. Unsolved problems keep the mind hungry and the eyes open.” –Jonathan Zap

My intention for my “Journey to Wholeness” series is to break mindsets, stimulate curiosity, and bring enlightenment to well-being—being well physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It is a nudge to drop labels—“short, fat, narrow-minded, empty-headed, New Age.” Remain open-minded, non-judgmental of “other-mindedness.”

When we think we know the mind of God, spiritual growth is thwarted. Where is faith? If a marksman or sharpshooter cuts off his trigger finger, he has no further use of his rifle.

By his writings, it seems that Nietzsche lost his faith at the age of 20. Regarding such, here is what he wrote in a letter to his sister: “Hence the ways of men part: if you wish to strive for peace of soul and pleasure, then believe; if you wish to be a devotee of truth, then inquire…”

Was that his last hypothesis after meeting God, again? Who are we to judge?

My point: if you have allowed disappointment from the actions, words, or behaviors of another human being, that’s no reason to throw in the towel on all humanity. The same goes for not receiving the answer you desired from your prayers, life plan, or religion. Continue seeking answers to these “unresolved problems.” Like Zap said, use them as your teachers.

It’s been a week since my series ended. I feel a responsibility to keep your brain from going mushy, so-o-o the last link in my article is to help you keep a hungry mind and open eyes.

Here are a couple of the author’s quotes (Gary ‘Z’ McGee, taken from his “Waking Times”) to prime your mind:

“From microcosm to macrocosm we are infinite beings perceiving an infinite reality using finite faculties.” (That’s us humans trying to figure out the universes, using our mere intellect—devoid of spirituality.)

It is helpful in treatment of secretworldchronicle.com generico levitra on line male barrenness.
“Atoms consist of 99.9999999% empty space. That means: everything from the chair you’re sitting on, the computer you’re staring at, even you, are only .000000001% there.” (If you read this for the second time, and no one’s there to witness it, does that mean you’re not there either? Huh?!)

Okay, back to another dimension. Here’s a two-minute exert of theoretical physicist, Dr. Michio Kaku (my second favorite physicist, after “Mysteries of the Universe” narrator, Brian Cox, on the Science Channel), answering Andre Lapiere’s question: “Are there only three dimensions in other universes or could there be more?”

Journey to Wholeness (XI)–I KNOW Crown Chakra

He IS in everything
He IS in everything

The Crown Chakra represents our spiritual connection to a higher power, understanding and comprehending our ability to commune with the Divine, to God. Its location is at the top of the head, slightly to the back.

When mastering the lower chakras and their vibrational aspects, we become aware that we’re spiritual beings living a human existence. With no spiritual base, imbalances can range from joining cultic groups for guidance to ego-mania.

God created us in His image, from His Divine nature. Like a magnet, we’re (super) naturally drawn to higher electromagnetic fields OR to the spiritual deficit: uninspired atheism!

This chakra corresponds to the pineal and pituitary gland, located directly beneath it.

Keep a journal
Keep a journal

You can open your Crown Chakra by dreaming. Focus on your life dreams. Write them down, and make a plan to achieve them.

The note “B” and the toning of “ē,” as in bee, balance the crown chakra.

The color amethyst is associated with The Crown Chakra. Amethyst, alexandrite, and diamonds are wonderful. (Diamonds remind us of our spiritual focus, enhance clarity of thought, and draw toxins from the physical body.)

The pineal gland is MAJOR in your life purpose. According to the Steadman’s Medical dictionary, the pineal gland is known as the “Epiphysis” gland. (Remind you of something?)

The American diet is full of pineal gland “calcifiers,” like carbonated beverages and fluoridated water. Avoid fluoridated water! Fluoride filters, distillers, and reverse-osmosis filters are available for removing fluoride from drinking water.

Therefore what are you waiting for? Go ahead generic cialis over at this unica-web.com and create your search nowadays solely.
White and herbal teas may be better for you because black and green teas are “incredibly efficient at absorbing fluoride from the environment and then releasing it into your body, preventing proper iodine absorption.” Drink responsibly…organic teas, please.

Idaho Blue Spruce #3093 (5-ml at $37.83 retail or $28.75 member price) is another amazing Young Living Essential Oil! Not only does its potent oxygenating quality open the pineal gland that becomes calcified/blocked because of chemical and other toxins, it helps release emotional trauma.

Sacred Frankincense #3550 (5 ml at $55.59 retail, $42.29 member price) is the holy oil of the Middle East, with over 52 references in the Bible. It increases spiritual awareness and enhances communication with The Creator, as does Frankincense. Dan Keskey calls Frankincense “our divine nature activator.” https://www.myyl.com/4wholeness

Suggested application for both of these oils is at the top of the foot (between the first and 2nd toe) and/or at the middle of the forehead at the hair line.  These are body and brain pressure points.

I know this series has been a lot to take in for many of you. My desire is to shine a light on common misconceptions about spirituality and on what I believe is God’s original “medicine”–essential oils, specifically those formulated by Dr. Gary Young of Young Living.

I wish you ALL health, happiness, and harmony within your body and with each other. Please remember and appreciate the wonders of the earth that sustain us.

God bless your journey to wholeness!

In basic summary: “The Law of Pure Potentiality governs the seventh chakra. When your roots are receiving nourishment from the earth in the first chakra, your creative juices are flowing in the second, your intentions are empowered in the third, your heart is open and exchanging love with those around you in the fourth, you are spontaneously expressing your highest self in the fifth, you are in touch with your inner voice in the sixth, only then, does energy move into the crown chakra and you remember your essential nature as infinite and unbounded…you know yourself as a spiritual being temporarily localized to a body and mind.” ~Depok Chopra

Journey to Wholeness (X) I SEE–Third Eye/Forehead Chakra

Intuition is Wisdom’s child.

Remember the 1998 movie, “City of Angels?” Angel Seth took his new friend/past angel to the angel’s gathering place on the beach to watch the sunrise. With closed eyes, facing east, Seth asked him, “Do you hear it?” meaning the sun’s vibration or song. (I had read everything living has its own vibration, but that’s when I got it! I saw with my intuition. The eyes of my understanding were opened. An INsight.)

This week is the Medullar, Brow or, don’t close your mind (get it?), Third Eye Chakra. Frontally, it’s located just above and between the physical eyes. This chakra corresponds to the eyes and pituitary gland. In Christian teaching, it refers to the “eye” of meditation and reflection.

When open, you’re intuitive, imaginative, and decisive. You see your true self and actualize your life direction and life purpose.

If closed, there can be self-doubt, indecision, and distrust. Depression, sleep disorders, learning disabilities, thyroid imbalances, hormonal disorders, headaches, sinus and eye problems may develop.

The note “A” and the toning of “eh,” as in face, balance the Medullar Chakra.

For EXTRA vibrations and overtones, the same goes for sound healing using tuning forks. After striking the fork on your knee, hold it over the chakra for several seconds. Just because you don’t hear its sound after a few seconds doesn’t mean it’s not vibrating. For its full benefit, wait before striking it again.

The law of Cause and Effect govern this chakra. Listen to that still inner voice inside, guiding you to your full potential. Quiet the internal voices of other’s judgments, expectations, and “you should.” Identify the sound and desire of your own soul. Remember you’re a spark of the Divine!

To stoke the fire of your destiny, develop the practice of meditation. In our Western civilization, we forget that Jesus didn’t wear a clergy collar and He wasn’t Protestant or Catholic. He was a holy man from the Middle East, comfortable with its traditions. I believe His “prayers” were not petitioning God. He knew God was IN Him. I believe he spent quiet times listening and looking within.

Meditation isn’t a prayer meeting or worship session; nor is it petitioning for needs and wants. From our youth, we’re encouraged to explore, pursue, and conquer the outside world. As we mature, we realize the undiscovered country of our soul. The noise of the world can drown out the gentle whispers of your soul Identity.

“Meditate day and night….for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8) Tune in to calm, and His direction.

Indigo and purple are associated with The Medullar Chakra. Wear indigo clothing and the gemstones Lapis Lazuli, deep Tanzanite, and Amethyst. (Amethyst calms the mind, enhances mental activity, and amplifies thought, increasing intuition.)

Eat organic blueberries, blackberries, and purple grapes. Drink R.W.KNUDSEN “Just Concord.” Grapes benefit the eyes, intestinal track, blood, and brain. They cleanse the liver and kidneys, and grapes can lift your spirits–an emotional and spiritual benefit.

Journey to Wholeness (IX) I Speak-Throat Chakra

After reading Sound of Heaven, Symphony of Earth by Ray Hughes, I actively began listening to the “symphony of earth.” Ray clarified for me that all “categories, and forms of light and sound exist within the same spectrum.”

INVISIBLE ENERGY
INVISIBLE ENERGY

The first time God said, ‘Let there be light,’ (Genesis 1:3) He was also proclaiming the beginning of sound.”

The Cervical, Neck or Throat Chakra represents the spoken word, the right to speak.

In the front, it’s located at the base of the neck, at the hollow of the collarbone. Its spiral is rooted in the third cervical vertebra at the base of the skull. This chakra corresponds to the lungs, ears, nose, thyroid, and throat. Think about it

    ((((((((((((breath+vibration/frequency=sound=communication=Creation)))))))))))

When open, there’s creative expression in speech, writing, and the arts. We’re integrated. We feel peace, express truth, and display loyalty.

My “right to speak” was long coming. Now, I’m adamant about encouraging children in their “right” to say “NO!” Don’t punish your children for saying no. Children ARE PEOPLE with emotions…just as we adults! LISTEN to their heart cries. They trust your overseeing of them. If you don’t listen, they learn not to trust.

If you’ve been silenced, sore throats and creative blocks occur; also headaches, insomnia, co-ordination problems, indecisiveness, depression, thyroid imbalances, infections, and more, may plague you. Do you experience a fog of confusion and doubt, like it’s raining on your parade? (I refer to this in the “Ingratitude” chapter of Part Three: Roadblocks of my book, HOW TO BE THE BEST YOU http://booklocker.com/books/6811.html  )

Singing, humming, reading poetry aloud, meaningful conversations, the note “G,” and the intonation of “aye,” as in eye, balance the Throat Chakra.

All the cost will obviously included in the sale Go Here discount viagra.

Humming is a God-given benefit of vocal cord speech. Do you know the frequency of a cat’s purr facilitates healing in them? Aside from decreasing depression and lowering your blood pressure, there’s also a health benefit to your critters of be stroked, held, and loved!

As Solomon stated, “there’s nothing new under the sun.”

“Healing through frequency is not new! John Wesley, founder of Methodism, experimented with a “machine” to heal people. He used a direct current voltage-regulator (a battery) to heal. He recorded many occasions where he “electrified people” and claimed to have helped thousands. He felt healing needed to include prayer. His journals record numerous miracles of God’s healing through prayer. He even prayed for his horse once, and the horse was healed. He had special compassion on those who needed healing and even dispensed medicine from his chapels.”-Kari Browning

“Electrified?” Maybe receiving shocks from door knobs and carpet is beneficial. It certainly stimulates vocalization from me!

Whatever balancing method you choose, sound is the energy of all things. Sound can heal wounded hearts, release pain, reduce stress, elevate mood, and w-a-y more.

The color blue is associated with the Throat Chakra. As you have learned, to assist in balancing energy: Wear it. Look at it. Eat it.

Blue is a unisex color. Holding my turquoise, blue topaz, or aquamarine-adorned hand out in front of my eyes makes me say, “Uh-hum!” See, I’m hummm-ing. (Turquoise and Aquamarine stimulate self-expression and help communicate compassionately.)

As for eating it, besides blueberries, bilberries, and blue-scaled fish, there aren’t many naturally occurring blue foods. (Blue M & M’s and blue Skittles don’t count!) In fact, the color blue is an appetite suppressant. Some dietitians even suggest eating on a blue plate, and replacing your refrigerator light with a blue light. For our ancient ancestors, blue food was a warning: poisonous!

Decrees: “I speak my truth. I speak up for me. My voice is heard.”

Directly applied on area of concern, Myrrh #3593 (15 ml at $85.20, $64.75 member price) is an excellent remedy for oral hygiene problems: throat, mouth, and gum irritations.

When diffused, Brain Power #3313 (5 ml at $85.20 or $64.75 member price) helps concentration and focus, clearing the confusion of “brain fog.” When applied to the lneck, throat or under the nose, it is uplifting to the emotions.
