Movement Is Progress

The magic of our life journey is in the directions our path turns, winds, stretches, sometimes descending in the valleys and ascending up the hills, dales and mountains. In the stretches, we can see clearly, often setting our controls on cruise, not planning beyond what we can see – a golden opportunity to envision what we desire.

Our path is always there. We can choose to take the fork or continue on the familiar. Neither is right or wrong. They both have their lessons.

At times, we may take three steps forward and three back. That’s OK!  We collect the lessons we have learned by those experiences, pass go and begin again.

We may take three steps forward and one step back. This is not a failure or a setback. It is you recalibrating your direction. Just as a baby falls as it’s learning to walk, it takes hold of a nearby support – adjusting from its imbalance how better to balance – strengthening it’s mental, emotional, and physical acumen.

All movement forward is progress.

Judging baby steps as small progress or how long it take to gain sure footing is self-sabotage.

When you catch the monkey talk belittling, judging or condemning you, only you can change the ticker tape…

LOVE IS In The Air

Breathe in the ALLness of Air…present everywhere, powerfully sustaining life and knowing how to flow through every cell in your body. (Did you intuit my correlation to the omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience of God?) Not only is that breath a meditation and a prayer, it draws you into your heart…brilliantly placed between your lungs.

As your lungs expand and your diaphragm rises, your heart is embraced… for many reasons. For my point, each breath is to draw your attention inward and realign with your divinity – God within. Literally, LOVE IS IN THE AIR.

YOU GOT THIS!

Recently, I received a surprise visit from a friend I haven’t heard from in a couple of years: my Great Blue Heron. She (We haven’t been formally introduced so I choose “she” is a her.) first entered my awareness around 3 or 4 o’clock one morning.

 

I was awakened from sleep by what I interpreted as a scream. I sat up to better hear. Instead of someone screaming, I heard screeching. On this—her second—visit, I saw her standing by my back stream, exactly where I saw her my first time. I was in the midst of my physical, emotional, and spiritual transition, so I interpreted her visit as my sign to investigate her message to me.

In Native American lore, the heron embodies wisdom and patience. Herons are intelligent, resourceful, and very determined. They are at home in three elements: Water, Earth and Air. Comfortable in multiple elements, the heron will have one foot on land, and one foot in the water while breathing air (and air being its medium for flight) patiently waiting for its dinner to swim by. Comfort in multiple elements is symbolic of easy transitions. My “transition” was very challenging.

Transition is our Now. Life’s only constant is change. Life offers lessons of wisdom IF YOU CHOOSE to accept them.

When I touch my feelings (in ANY circumstance/upgrades/opportunity), feel my emotions, stay in my now, breathe inspiration in my tranquility, I CAN appreciate, learn from and love my life lessons. SO CAN YOU as you Touch Feel Stay Breathe Love.

LOVE – The Tie That Bonds

Stoke Your Flame to De-Light

(This is a personal post I rarely share. Enjoy.)

Delight! I have felt delight all evening.

I prioritized today as my cooking day. I made a tomato, onion and black olive quiche with cashew milk. (for a few of my breakfasts and I freeze pieces for later.) For dinner, I prepared spaghetti (Soba noodles) with tomato, basil and garlic spaghetti sauce topped off with shredded white cheddar cheese.

My cosmic niece felt the importance of *looking into a fire today (*My interpretation at the end), which was perfect for the cold snap we always have within a couple of weeks of Easter. So, my sisterAwaken built one and sent a video to share with me.

I served myself a plate of spaghetti with dilly beans on the side, lit a candle, turned on my “fire,” poured a glass of red wine and bathed in delight.

I have enjoyed and am grateful for the ease and delight of simply Be-ing today.
