I See Your Perfection

Grow in your confidence, courage, and self-belief. How? Answer your heart’s call.

If you feel your life is a blank canvas, turn it into a masterpiece. If your past endeavors have lost their gratification and you feel drawn to another pursuit, create a new “work” over the old canvas. Rembrandt, van Gogh and Picasso did. You can too!

The right path can be a new direction. This is not a contradiction. Change is your soul’s evolution and validation of listening to your heart’s song.

I understand. I followed the path of least resistance, twirling a protective parasol of denial, wearing a veil over my eyes and hearing on mute. The coping mechanisms you have used and the person you became to get through your struggles, pain and trauma have served their purpose. You can now let them go.

Allow me to be a sounding drum in our enlightening conversations. I will guide you in becoming the transformed rendition of your former self. You will understand the misperceived stories you told yourself, connect emotions interlocked in your experiences, realize their unconscious repeated patterns, realign with your purpose, and recognize your inherent value and worth. You will remember the sacred dance of your life, in tune with your heart song.

The Priority of Self-Care

Have you (or do you) put other’s activities, health and happiness first in your daily routine, your “chores?”

In your doing so, do you feel “on-the-clock,” rushed, stressed, refereeing (and participating) in rounds of complaint/discontent?

__Yes

__No

If your answer is no, PLEASE comment with your treatise of self-mastery.

If your answer is yes to any or all of the above, your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual tanks are running on fumes.

If you choose to take this mission possible, get alone and ask yourself:

“How can I love and care for me?”

“What do I love I haven’t taken time for in many moons.”

Then, with resolution, put it on your heart calendar along with how often you will treat yourself.

A solitary dinner with a glass of _____ as you wish. (Westley’s permission )

A walk in nature.

Sitting on the banks of the river or seashore.

A bike ride adventure with no time limit.

Puttering in your garden.

Buying a floral arrangement at the grocery, market or florist.

A browse through a hardware store.

I nurturing hammock hug.

A 20-minute power nap at lunch or mid-afternoon.

A 30-minute soak in the tub.

It’s time to let go of non-edifying habits, routines and chores. Yes, there are mundane activities in each of our lives. If we count them as unpleasant must-dos, we squander the opportunity of putting on rose-colored glasses to see, feel, taste and know the joy of a beautiful life lived in peace, love and gratitude.

You have the key to your own happiness. No one else and nothing else is responsible.

What nourishes you is your medicine and your bliss.

If we do not love our life, we’re missing the point of the experience.

Make a wish.

Make it happen.
